There will be many competitors in the upcoming sculpting challenge, but two competitors will be meeting again after competing against each other for years.

California Sand Castle Competition Rivals
Last year at the
US Open Sandcastle Competition in Imperial Beach, CA I.B. Posse and Archisand took first and second place. Between both teams they have taken 9 out of 10 first place awards. Come watch as they compete again for the first place prize!

San Diego Sand Castle Competition
This is the first year of the US Sand Sculpting Challenge and 3D Art Exposition in San Diego. Its going to be a blast! Its a perfect event for friends, family, and couples. Come and enjoy the weekend with us.
The Event
- Begins on Friday August 31 and ends on September 3, 2012 (Labor Day Weekend).
- Will be located at B Street Cruise Ship Terminal Pier, in Downtown San Diego.
- Over 300 tons of sand are being brought onto the pier for the competition.
- Tickets are affordable for the whole family
This is not just some small sand castle competition. There will be thousands in attendance to come watch the pros make stunning sandcastles as well as partake in many other activities.
